Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts at our Influencer Marketing and Content Production Agency. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to drive growth and expand the agency’s client base
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and outreach efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, sponsors and partners
- Negotiate and close deals with clients, sponsors and partners
- Lead and manage a team of business developers, providing guidance, mentorship and support
- Collaborate with the production team to develop proposals and presentations for clients and sponsors
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the agency
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide regular reporting on progress and performance to senior management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments, and adapt the business development strategy as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with the influencer marketing and content production industries is a plus
